Earthlyaid Rescue Cream
Earthlyaid claim that their Rescue Cream/brand is “An organic, vegan and sustainable skincare line”
Earthlyaid First Impressions
Upon first receiving my PR sample, I instantly got a feel for what this brand was about. Natural and sustainable. When I opened the glass jar, the product looked so thick and creamy and smelt almost edible!
Rescue Cream Packaging
The outer box was cardboard filled with natural wood shavings. Very suited to the brand! The container was a glass jar with a plastic lid which seals very tight to avoid spillages! The product I received was a sample. The full sized rescue creams are large 250ml bottles with pump lids.
Rescue Cream Application
My sample came in a jar, so I just scooped out the required amount with a spatula. However, the full size bottles come with a pump lid, which makes application much easier.
It is a cream consistency that feels slightly oily. However not greasy, more like an avocado texture. There is no greasy texture left on the skin after application, it just soaks straight into the skin and doesn’t leave you feeling oily.
The scent is certainly natural, and not over powering. I can’t put my finger exactly on what it reminds me of, but its an earthy, herby, almost slightly citrusy scent. It almost reminds me of wild flowers/herbs.
Organic, Vegan, Sustainable.
Think Dirty Rating
No rating as of yet.
Ingredients include sacha inchi seed oil, tamanu oil, microalgae extract.
The jar I received in PR was a sample size, but when you purchase this product, you get a 250ml bottle for £35.
How Long Was The Testing Period:
I used this product every day for two weeks, however I could see a difference to the skin as soon as the cream was applied. It instantly moisturised dry flaky patches and evened out the greyness around my knees. When I first used the product I could have applied it twice a day. Now, after two weeks I feel I could cut down to just using it every other day or even once a week. It has genuinely improved the dryness on my problem areas. Earthlyaid claim that this Rescue Cream helps with eczema. I don’t have eczema so I can’t comment on that, but from what I have seen, I have great faith in the product!
Will I Use Earthlyaid Rescue Cream Again?
Yes! I normally tend to get dry skin when I am in the sun more, or coming into Winter. I will certainly be using this again next time I have dry patches.
Will I Purchase This Again?
Yes. When my sample runs out I will be purchasing the full sized product as I feel it really has helped me.
Is Earthlyaid Rescue Cream available Worldwide?
At the moment they only retail in the UK but have said they are planning to ship worldwide in the future.
